KINKFEST

Pretty much all done.

The problem is that the Gankutsuou discs vanished before I could finish, and I wanted to finish before I wrote that one, but I'll scramble them up at some point and finish that last fic. Other than that, I'm pretty much done. Out of here. Used up. Waiting eagerly for the next round!

DIE LEON DIE

Leon? Shut. The. Fuck. Up. Oh my god, did this show honestly have the nerve to do that? It was your fault, you filthy little fuck, and you're just as nasty when you aren't possessed, deliberately lying, guilt tripping and shredding the girl you ostensibly love to shed your own guilt. She did everything she did to keep you safe. You're the one that insisted you get involved.

You pathetic little bastard. She was better off with the promiscuous incarnation of evil.

now I back off on the incoherency )

Hex

Soooo....the priest is not such a nice guy. Now I feel really sorry for Roxanne. All I'd heard about was the coverup section of the conclusion.

But Ella! Badass. I love you.

possible really vague spoilers for season 2...? )

Hex

I cried over Cassie. WHAT. WHAT NO. WAAAAAAH.

Also, I love Ella in all her fierce, at-times-callous determination, and how she isn't a one-note character the way Hollywood shows portray kickass girls that are willing to sacrifice things; she feels, she just doesn't let it get in her way.

Oh, Thelma.

Still loathe Leon. Am still earthshakingly disinterested in Roxanne seducing the poor teacher, especially since I've been spoiled as to how that turns out. I like him. And while I can't say I hate her, I'm just...meh on her machinations.

And I miss Cassie already. WHAT NO.

Cassie and Thelma!

I'm watching Hex, and enjoying it much more than I expected. I like the characters a lot, pretty much all of them, or else I dislike them with the cheerful fervor that means they're written well.British TV seems to inevitably write characters that I love--or at least Hex and Jekyll have, though perhaps two shows aren't enough to state such generalities on.

Also, it will give me an opportunity to write girl-on-ghost!girl best friend porn, which is never to be sneezed at. They're so sweet together.

I put off watching Blood Ties for a long time. I'm not sure why; I really did love the books, so I think I'm probably a bit leery of it on that count. I know--and the author noticed--that they definitely changed Henry's character a lot. They turned him into what I rather thought of as Kenshin without guilt, someone easy going, courteous, and hella dangerous when roused, into a more Hollywood version of vampire.

But it looks like they've kept Vicki's flat-out badass awesomeness as best they could, and the lure of her is too much to resist. And Henry looks like a tolerable rendition of vampire and reasonably attractive, so I'm ready to plunge in, enjoy the sexiness of a lady in glasses, and write vampire porn at my leisure later. I never liked Michael--his possessive and intrusiveness turned me off of him--so I'm not at all upset at how badly they cast him.
