I have decided that rather than rage I will fill my life with LOVE. This has been implemented by visiting memlu/mekosuchinae's journal.

In case you were wondering: this is what I am like in real life. I may be the only person on the strange many faceted face of the intrawebs that is more level headed and restrained online than in RL!

I'm getting kind of tired of this. When you say 'Sarah should have realized the Labyrinth was never really about her at all' as a prelude to pairing Toby/Jareth? It's about the dumbest thing you can say. She NEVER THOUGHT IT WAS ABOUT HER. I've seen this kind of thing before--dismissing the female character this way--but never quite so stupidly. She always thought it was about rescuing Toby! I keep seeing some idiot posting the above, and it's been grating on my nerves, especially since the tone is so derisive.

Not to mention what I have to say about turning a movie about a girl growing and changing and defeating a Labyrinth on her own wits, bravery and discovered maturity into one more story about 'oh, it's all about the boy!' in that appalling comic. And, or so I've heard, taking away all her growth and happiness. It's as bad as a substandard fanfic.

Not even counting, of course, the fact that comic-Jareth would be a pedophile to a really terrifying degree. Infancy, man. Infancy.
