	♣ WHO "Well behaved women rarely make history." -Laurel Thatcher Ulrich I am a writer, both fanfiction and original and an avid reader. Hit a few of my buttons--prose and interesting protagonists--and I am inclined to jump up and down and make little hamster noises in fangirl-style joy; however, I have some hot spots, among them romance-novel style male 'domination', dumbass gender politics, double standards, 'men are sexy but woman whiny when angst is involved' and rape as a stupid plot point.
♣ FANFICTION. FEMINISM. FUN. I am in love with the languages, most of the animal kingdom and heroines. I like my heroines, period: from sexy and dangerous to prim and sensible to dreamy and quiet to cheerful and bubbly. I like my heroes with actual personalities, my main characters to have lives outside of each other, and have little patience with stereotypes unless they're twisted and bent over and taken advantage of all to hell. I'm addicted to happy endings; I'm cynical to the extreme about the real world.
♣ Well, we kiss like painted tigers But we bleed like no one else - Scarling I babble a lot and I write a lot. I can be really, really, shallow. I don't generally need tense plotting or devastatingly accurate science; everything tends to swing with the characters (and prose) for me, and I like 'em interesting and multifaceted.
