Sin City from a feminist persective. Yup, the movie (and Frank Miller) in a nutshell right there, folks.
It's not a seamlessly composed argument--in several instances it fails to support it with the solid evidence that is there in the movie in favor of repeating stock phrases. It's what my English professor would call the Point and Explanation of Point, Explanation, Evidence (PEE, and don't think that college students were too mature to snicker stupidly when she wrote it on the board) but it's fairly well written and quite true.
In conclusion, I'd like to present this comic.
